JONATHAN TAN

Based in Singapore, Jonathan is a photographer who specialises in portraiture, social documentary. Simultaneously contemplative and introspective, his pictures reflects his philosophy of creating awareness of the other and thus the self, capturing vulnerability through open and honest dialogues with his subjects. Keenly aware of urban ennui and malaise, his works often reflect themes of solitude and intimacy.
